Important information about our endodontic services during the latest COVID-19 lockdown

The health, safety and comfort of you and our staff are of paramount importance to us.

In order to be able to continue the provision of endodontic care in a safe environment for our patients and staff, we continue to implement the extra steps that had been added to our procedures and the patient journey from the outset of the pandemic.
We would like to reassure you that we are continuing to keep our highest standard of disinfection and infection control as we work in an environment where the universal prevention of the spread of infections and diseases is built into our daily practice. Our team members are well trained in this field to keep you and the team safe. In fact, Dentistry in general and Endodontics in particular have always remained ahead of the rest of primary healthcare workforce in the development, implementation and delivery of the strictest infection control policies including disinfection, decontamination, sterilisation and cross infection control. In addition, the use of PPE within dentistry has always been one of the most stringent due to the nature of our profession.
In addition, the practice has also installed air purifiers, which enables filtration and cleansing of the practice air to the highest standards.

We will adhere to social distancing rules in non-clinical areas of the practice.

We have also added the following steps to the patient journey:

  • You will be contacted by the reception team prior to your treatment appointment to go through a Covid-19 screening checklist. This will be repeated on the day of your appointment and before you enter the practice
  • You must wear face covering when you are coming to the practice
  • We strongly advise that you refrain from using public transport if at all possible
  • We strongly advise that you enter the practice unaccompanied and slightly (no more than 5 minutes if possible) prior to your allocated appointment time
  • You will be requested to sanitize your hands on your arrival
  • Social distancing rules are in force in non-clinical areas
  • You will be requested to remove your face covering in the surgery
  • Following the completion of the treatment you can wear your face covering again

We would be grateful if you would also

  • Follow the most up to date guidance provided by the government.
  • Do not come to the practice if you develop any symptoms of Covid-19 (a high temperature, a new continuous cough, a loss of change of your taste of smell or taste
